How Semi-Automatic Stretch Wrap Machines with a Scale work- This system combines wrapping and weighing into one operation by integrating a precision scale and digital controls with high profile turntable. Combining the two functions into one brings greater economy and efficiency to any wrapping operation requiring weighing. The pallet load is placed onto the turntable of the stretch wrapping machine by means of a pallet lifter or fork truck. The machine operator attaches the film to the pallet load and starts the stretch wrapping cycle. When the wrap cycle is complete, the operator manually tears the film and attaches the tail to the wrapped load or when optionally equipped this can be done automatically. The pallet is weighed and the weight is displayed to the operator or printed on a shipping label when the machine has the optional printer, the finished pallet can now be removed from the turntable for shipment.
