The Standard Rotary Blister Sealer and Clamshell Sealer comes as a 4 station machine (with one open product loading station), a 6 station machine (with three open product loading stations), or 8 station machine (with three to four open product loading stations). Rotary Blister Sealers can be specified for use producing clamshells, two and three-piece blister packages. The State-of-the-art control system has a user-friendly touch screen HMI for ultimate control of the machine, fast changeovers and precise timing functions, eliminate rework and scrap issues. Cycle times are dictated by operator load time but approximately 10-20 per minute are easily achievable with the addition of an Automatic Blister Feeder and a Automatic Package Ejector. It typically only takes 2 to 2.5 seconds to create the seal, the actual production speed is based on the size of the package, the number of blister packs that are be produced per tool (at a single time) and the product loading by the operator. The operators are paced by the programming of the machine so a more repeatable production rate is the result and this means a more accurate scheduling capability for management.
