Pressure Sensitive Labeler for Pails. This machine is designed for Small Pail or Bucket Labeling (full or empty) and empty 5 gallon Pails. The Pail Labeler includes "handle orientation" which allows the label to be placed in a predictable location when being conveyed. Packaging Equipment Sales has a Pressure Sensitive Labeler to offer for every pressure sensitive labeling application. If you need to label any type of product we have the labeling equipment.
Pail Labelers are complete labeling systems. They include the labeler, bale/handle orientation, sensors and controls in one easy to use package. The labeling heads are servo-driven and synchronized with the encoded conveyor drive. These Pail Labelers are super easy to operate, efficient and accurate in applying clear and opaque pressure sensitive labels. These labelers can be programmed to hold up to 50 recipes that are easily recalled through a simple to use operator touch screen. Variables such as speed, product/label lengths and timing are automatically adjusted. The sensors are fixed position and do not require being moved, unlike most other labelers. Imagine never having to call your technicians to move the sensors again.

The video shows the following: In-Line Pressure Sensitive Labeling of pails with handle orientation, top labeling of clamshell packages, wraparound clamshell labeling, tri-panel labeling of square containers, full wrap labeling of bottles, front labeling of honey bottles, front and back labeling of F-style gallon bottles, top and 3/4 wrap labels on tubs, automatic compensation for speed changes. These are just some examples of the automatic labelers we carry. If are looking for automatic labeling machines, then we have equipment for your application.
How a Pail Labeler works: The roll of labels is put on to an indexing reel. The label strip is unwound from the roll and fed through series of self-tensioning idler arms to the peel plate and then to a take-up reel (this creates a web). The labeler is powered up and indexed so it is ready to perform the labeling process. The first indexed label is moved over the peel plate that is shaped in a point, the backing material when indexed over the point of the peel plate releases the label. The label is now “Flagged” meaning sticking out past the peel plate ready for the self-adhesive back of the label to contact the Pail. The Pail is loaded on the conveyor with the bail hung on the "handle orientating" device. The Pail travels on the conveyor to the labeling station which has the “Flagged” label waiting to contact it. When the Pail comes in contact with the waiting label, the label is indexed to match the speed of the Pail and the self-adhesive glue on the back of the label sticks to the package. After it passes through the labeling station a pair od wipe gates apply pressure to the label and the label sticks to the Pail.Pail Labeler Features-
