This High-Speed Servo-Drive Thermoformer has a built in Punch-Press Trim and are designed for applications that require high volume production and precision punch type trimming of parts such as plates, bowls, trays, lids, cups, etc. The "State of the art" servo-motor technology provides continuous forward motion control for forming platens, trim platens and film index. These thermoforming systems feature a precision die-cutting press that uses punch and die type tooling. Extremely fast cycle speeds, exceeding 50ppm are achievable. These servo driven pressure formers use roll-fed thermoplastic that is indexed via a servo-driven pin chain through a multiple zone pre heating station into the forming station where servo-driven top and bottom moving platens (with form tools attached) close and pressure form the part after which the formed sheet web is indexed and re-registered as it enters the servo-driven horizontal punching station where parts are punched out of the web and automatically stacked while The scrap web is rewound or fed into a grinder.

High-Speed Servo-Drive Pressure Thermoforming Machine with Punch-Press Trim Features:

• Cool Blow System: after parts are formed, a unique cool air cycle circulates through the pressure box to assist the water cooled tools in cooling the formed parts, reducing the cycle time.
• Platen Lock System: system compresses the o-ring seal to compensate for any variation in tool height. No shims or set up adjustments are required to seal tools with minor variances in height. Touch Screen Control: user friendly touch screen simplifies equipment set-up and operation.
• Digital photographic troubleshooting directs the operator to exact location of machine fault and describes corrective action necessary.
• Double Wide Pin Chain: American-made double wide chain incorporates two rollers; reducing friction and eliminating wear. The chain design has been in service decades without replacing a chain or track in the field.
• Retractable Heaters: top and bottom heaters retract out of the plastic area during shut-down. Energy saving feature also reduces cleanup if sheet is overheated.
• Full-Length Platens: form and trim presses are full size, supporting tooling. Platens are solid steel running the full length and width, reducing shut height and tooling costs.
• 50+ Cycles per Minute: servo-driven CAM-activated platens provide continuous forward motion resulting in increased cycling speeds.
• High Form Pressure: exclusive press locking system is capable of holding form air pressure in the box without leaking.
• Four Post Precision Presses: large diameter precision press bearings and solid steel platens in both the form and trim stations.
